French Oak is sourced from managed forests in Normandy where the region's cool climate, rich soil, and careful forestry cultivate light brown tones with subtle, fine grain. This distinct type of European Oak is valued in cooperage, fine woodworking, and custom wood flooring. Live Sawn French Oak is milled for the most efficient yield and includes all grain patterns present in the timber. This cut produces the widest boards and may include color variation, pith, and character.
