Western Hemlock thrives in low-light, high rainfall regions west of the Cascade Mountain range. This evergreen needled conifer harmonizes well with other species of the Pacific Northwest forest and can reach heights of up to two hundred feet. The slender trunk offers a sustainable, strong softwood with fine grain that is uniform in color and ideal for interior finishes.
