EASTERN WHITE PINE

Grand in size and history, Eastern White Pine timbers were once vital to King George's Navy. These tremendous timbers, with a trunk diameter typically exceeding twenty-four inches and height reaching at least two hundred feet tall, were once used primarily for ship masts, and the King reserved the largest timbers for his Royal fleet. Today, old growth Eastern White Pine trees still offer wide boards and long lengths. The subtle grain pattern and soft tones allow the species' knots and dimensions take the forefront, creating warmth in any environment.
