WHITE OAK BEAMS
The Hudson Company’s Hand Hewn Oak beams are sourced from select harvest timber stands of Pennsylvania and Ohio. These timbers are scored, shaped, and hewn by hand, utilizing traditional tools such as a broad axe, adz, and draw knife. Beams include characteristics common in reclaimed material such as check, cracks, and nominal dimensions. These timbers are air dried only and will continue to dry in place.

Hand Hewn Face. Unfinished.

These beams will continue to air dry over the first year of installation. You may experience face checking and twisting.
