RECLAIMED EMPIRE FIR,
ORIGINAL FACE
The Hudson Company is pleased to offer over 100,000 Board Feet of Empire Fir, sourced from industrial warehouses across the Hudson Valley. Although native to the Pacific Northwest, Douglas Fir was transported east in the 1870s on the Pacific Railroad, the nation’s first transcontinental railroad. Tall and majestic, these evergreens can reach heights of over 300 feet with gigantic width. Now antique and reclaimed, our Empire Fir timbers are as wide as 18” and as long as 20’. With a warm hue and a striking grain pattern, Douglas Fir lumber is equal parts rustic and sublime.
