ROASTED WHITE PINE

Eastern White Pine timbers were once vital to The British Royal Navy. These timbers have diameters typically exceeding twenty-four inches and heights of at least two hundred feet, and were once used primarily for ship masts, with the best examples being reserevd for the Royal fleet. Today, old growth Eastern White Pine trees offer exceptionally wide boards and long lengths. The subtle grain pattern and soft tones give this species' knots a robust appearance.
