French Oak is sourced from managed forests in Normandy where the region's cool climate, rich soil, and careful forestry cultivate light brown tones with subtle, fine grain. This distinct type of European Oak is valued in cooperage, fine woodworking, and custom wood flooring. Rift French Oak is milled to emphasize straight grain but may contain occasional medulary rays and edge sap.
